About FAIR
FAIR (Fathers Actively Involved in Reclaiming Rights) began as a community-based initiative created to help Georgia fathers navigate the often confusing and emotional legitimation process, strengthen co-parenting relationships, and remain active in their children’s lives.
That mission has not changed — supporting fathers remains at the heart of what we do.
But as FAIR grew, we recognized that this journey doesn’t just impact fathers — it touches entire families. Co-parenting can be complicated. Many families experience difficult dynamics, communication barriers, or unresolved conflicts that create stress and confusion for everyone involved — especially children.
We also saw how bonus moms, bonus dads, and grandparents often carry a part of that emotional weight, playing an important role in a child’s life while rarely having access to support and resources of their own.
That’s why FAIR has expanded to also stand for:
✨ Families Actively Involved in Reconnection.
We are here to support fathers and families as they navigate co-parenting challenges, rebuild trust, and create stronger family bonds centered on what matters most: the well-being of the child.
Founder’s Note
FAIR was born out of real-life experiences — experiences that opened our eyes to the emotional, legal, and practical challenges fathers often face when trying to build and maintain meaningful relationships with their children.
We’ve witnessed firsthand how complicated co-parenting and legitimation can become, especially when emotions and systems intersect. Through those lessons, we've developed a deep passion for making sure fathers are informed, equipped, and supported as they walk this journey.
As FAIR grew, it became clear that these struggles don’t just impact fathers — they affect entire families. Bonus parents, grandparents, and loved ones often stand in the gap, navigating their own set of challenges with little support.
Our hope is that FAIR will not only provide resources, but also foster a sense of community and encouragement — a place where fathers and families alike feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Because no parent or family should have to navigate this process alone.
